PO10.2 Vendor Order Day
I'm part of a large national system and trying to control an order day for 1 specific vendor for our region of 10 acute facilities. Our normal standard is no unique vendor order days, but I thought I could manipulate this with the purchase from. Each facility has a unique purchase from. We flipped the flag to Wednesday "Y" in po10.2 but the inventory orders are not being held and release on other days. Any ideas of what I'm missing? Could PO10.1 override PO10.2?  Read More
IC234 ITL-SOH
We currently run our IC234 at midnight of Month End and it was pointed out to me by one of our Supply Chain Directors that there are items that are inactive showing up with ITL-SOH value. In researching I found this true and cannot find anywhere an actual SOH Value and some of these items have been inactive for quite some time. Has anyone else run into this issue or know where the report may be pulling these values from? Thank you. Rich Client - Increasing Heap Size to Improve Performance
Our users are experiencing very slow APIA performance in Lawson v10 on-prem Rich Client (RC version 10.1.1.78). User desktops have 16GB RAM. In local "richclient.lawspec" files, we changed "jreArgs" argument from "-Xmx636m" to "-Xmx1024m" to bump max heap size to 1GB. THIS RESULTED IN NOTICEABLE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT for Rich Client APIA users. We understand the heap size can be increased further, up to 4GB. However, when we increase -Xmx above 1024 (ex: to 2048 or 4096), RICH CLIENT FAILS TO LAUNCH. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Read More

Don’t let buzzwords drive your cloud architecture
Many enterprises follow the crowd and choose as many hyped concepts as possible. Don't do it. Work from the requirements to the solution, not the other way around.
