Dedicated Resources After Go-Live
My organization is currently in the implementation stage of 9.0.1 Technology/Applications, as well as LBI and ESS/MSS for Human Capital Management. We have approximately 250 Technology users and 8,000 ESS users. It certainly is a handful managing the day to day needs of our functional and business units during this stressful time. The question that keeps coming up is how many staffing resources should be dedicated on a go-forward basis to the upkeep of the system. Read More...
Combining Item Groups?
We have 5 IC companies (1 of which is a Canadian company). Each has it's own Item Group. We are looking into combining those 5 into 1 Item Group (either by keeping an existing one or creating a brand new one). We are hoping to correspond this with the v9.0.1 upgrade this winter (from v8.1.0). Does anyone have any thoughts to any ramifications this could have with PO, MA or AP?  Read More...
Move Accounting Units Between Zones
Our finance department has decided to restructure so that a group - but not all - of accounting units that currently exist in one facility are moved to another. Looking for ideas on how best to move accounting units but leave history intact for reporting purposes. Is there a way that this can be accomplished?  Read More...
