Changing a Recurring Journal
We are looking for a way to secure recurring journals by having them go for reapproval if they are changed in terms of dollar amount, cost center, GL, etc. Right now, they get approved on the front end, but after that changes can be made without an additional approval needed. Does anyone have experience with this scenario?
How to point Replication Sets to multiple FTP Destinations
I am on v11 CSF and cannot figure out how to point Replication Sets to a different FTP directory than the root directory on the FTP site provided by Infor. I read the documentation and tried to configure the schema.registration.destination but it did not work. Has anyone got this to work? My objective is to send to several destination folders such as /ReplicationSets/GL and /ReplicationSets/AP...etc...but I would be happy at the moment just to dump everything in /Replications Sets/ instead of the FTP root directory.
Infoset as Attachment?
Hi, we are on LBI V10. I am looking for a creative way that will allow data to be sent as an email attachment in a smart notification outside of the organization. Ideally, I'd like to convert the data generated from an Info set to an Excel or CSV document, include it in the notification as an attachment versus in the body of the email, and deliver to the recipient.
Automated Job Recovery
Currently Lawson 10 - Windows/SQL.My site currently has a VB Script monitoring the job queue using jqstatus -hrw
The current monitor works, but we are hoping to get some additional functionality out of it and IPA/ProcessFlow is where we have decided to house the new setup.

What the CIO's Role Says About Your Company

3 things every CIO should know before they migrate to the cloud
Enterprises are continuing to express their love for the cloud and that’s not surprising. Public cloud security has improved to the extent that enterprises are comfortable with the idea of offloading infrastructure management to other entities. Even highly regulated industries, such as healthcare and finance, are tip-toeing in the direction of the public cloud — albeit with reservations, and with their less-sensitive data and workloads.
