Can the Domain_User password in LSA be Synced with AD?
We are migrating from the HP-UX version of Lawson to the Windows version. During testing we were getting a "user could not be logged in" error when running batch jobs and found out that their Domain_User password needed to be manually inputted in Manage Identities/Prod service in LSA in order to run batch jobs. This wasn't required in the HP-UX version.

It isn't practical to have to manually input over 100 network passwords in LSA every 90 days, and users aren't allowed to give up their password anyway. Is there a way to have the user's network password automatically updated in LSA when they change their password? Apparently the LDAP bind doesn't do that. Or is there possibly something wrong with the setup? It doesn't seem it would be intended to work this way. Thanks. Read More
PfiUserProfile in Landmark
I'm having difficulties narrowing down documentation(purpose and necessity) for this table. We have migrated over the years from being a lawson core user of workflow in which we used tasks and approvals. Back then if a user was not defined in the PfiUserProfile table they had no access to inbaskets, approvals, etc. Over the next several years we migrated our inbaskets and approvals over to landmark. We are now migrating up into the OS system and have changed alot of things. We also have a workflow that pulls users resource management and adds them into the workflow user table=PfiUserProfile. I have a user that is failing on the add. Since we have progressed our workflows, and no longer use tasks, is it still necessary to populate this table? Read More

REST Calls in Infor Process Automation

We are working on a new interface where the vendor provided a REST API. Is it possible to interact with a REST API through an Infor Process Automation? We typically deal with flat files, this is our first project using the REST API. We will basically need to pull some data through the API, do an AGS call to load the data into a PA52 action, and then post some data back through the REST API. Any guidance would be appreciated. Cost Management Old to New

We have situations with Bill Only's where we have new costs loaded in the item master, but because the Proc Date is prior to the effective date of the new costs, the new cost will not be correct. We would prefer to not use the RQ04 cost override option. My thought is to use 2 Lawson agreements with a special RQ01 as a participant in the old one that would only be kept available for a couple weeks or so until the techs work through the older bills & are only processing bills under the new costs.
